Vermicelli poha/ Sewai poha
- 2 cups Vermicelli / Sewai Roasted
- 2 Onions
- 1 tbsp Ginger grated/ paste
- Green chillies- few as per taste
- 1 tsp Black mustard seeds
- 1/4 tsp Turmeric
- 2tbsp Oil
- 1 glass water Enough to cover sewai in the pan
First of all, for this simple dish start by heating a pan with some oil.
Now add black mustard seeds and let it splutter
Now add chopped green chillies followed by grated ginger and sauté it till ginger starts to change colour.
Then add chopped onions, turmeric and salt to taste and allow it to cook for some time till the onions start to turn pink.
Go on and add vermicelli and mix properly with other ingredients. After 5mins add water, just enough to cover the vermicelli.
Finally, Now cover with a lid and allow it to cook. Keep a check in between. After about 7-10 mins remove the lid, sauté thoroughly and it’s done!
Serve hot with fried peanuts on top along with tea/ coffee.
