Super healthy Grilled fish
- 1.5 kg fish (Rohu/ Belgagri) cleaned and cut
- 2 tbsp Salt as per taste
- 1/2 cup Coriander leaves
- 1 tsp Turmeric
- 3 tbsp Red chili powder according to taste
- 1 tbsp Cumin seed powder freshly grounded
- 1 tbsp olive oil for cooking
First of all, Cut and clean the fish over running water and pat dry with a kitchen towel. I have used here is Rita buchanani aka belgagri fish, which is quite meaty variety. (you can choose any other fish you like)
Now moving ahead, Grind all the spices together to form a paste.
Then, Coat the fish with masala paste and leave overnight or at least 2 hrs for marination, so that fish takes up all the beautiful flavours of the spice mix.
And, Cook in the microwave in combination mode (microwave + grill) for 45- 50 mins. You can also cook it in the grill pan over medium heat.
Serve hot with green chutney and onions. Use this dish as an appetizer or as a side dish with a meal.
